Resumen
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the applicability of the corporal notion category of Psychomotor Battery (PMB) of Fonseca (1995) in mentally disabled individuals. The methodological procedure adopted was the descriptive research. The sample was composed by twelve mentally disabled individuals of both genders, from 10 to 15 years old. After the application of PMB it was possible to conclude, based on the results, that it is a good assessment tool in order to supply data on corporal notion, what enables the intervention to the level in which each one is found.
